For more than 125 years, the Masonic Homes has been a trusted home for our Masonic family. Ours is a one-of-a-kind senior community in the East Bay hills of Union City.  

Masonic Options

Masons, their spouses, surviving spouses, parents and parents-in-law are given priority for admission and special payment options. 

Special Contract Types Just for Masons

Because the Masonic Homes operates as a service of the Masons of California, there are two payment options for Masons and their families. 

Fee for service/Pay as you go: Residents pay a base monthly rate and a one-time community fee, plus fees for any à la carte services elected. They are financially responsible for their own medical and dental expenses. Download our pricing guide for these pay-as-you-go options.

Partial assignment of assets: Residents assign 75 percent of their assets and ongoing income to the Masonic Homes. No base monthly fee is required. Except for à la carte services, residents are provided care and services at no additional cost. This option is open to all eligible applicants, regardless of their financial resources.
