The Pavilion at the Masonic Homes is here to serve the Masonic and non-Masonic community alike, but Masons and their wives or widows are given priority for admission and special payment options. Wait times for admission depend on the level of accommodation needed.

Financial Eligibility and Payment Options

Because the Masonic Homes operates as a service of the Masons of California, there are two payment options for Masons and their wives or widows. Admissions coordinators will work with you to determine the best payment plan for your family. No eligible fraternal family member will be turned away due to limited financial resources.

Two Payment Options for Masons and their Wives or Widows

Fee for service: Residents pay a base monthly rate and a one-time community fee fee, plus fees for any à la carte services elected. They are financially responsible for their own medical and dental expenses. Financial qualifications apply.

Partial assignment of assets: Residents assign 75 percent of their assets and income to the Masonic Homes. No base monthly fee is required. Except for à la carte services, residents are provided all care and services, including health care, at no additional cost. This option is open to all eligible applicants, regardless of their financial resources.

If you have debt exceeding your unsecured assets by $2,000 or more, you will need to discuss this matter during the application process to determine how it can be resolved.
